Graduation Day

Graduation Day has been organized at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University since 2007. Beginning with the 2008 edition our aim is to turn this event into a celebration of our city. Every year, more and more universities take part in this event; this year, Graduation Day will be celebrated together by all the graduates of the five public universities in Iaşi: Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Gheorghe Asachi Technical University, George Enescu University of Arts, Gr.T.Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ion Ionescu de la Brad University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

What happens on Graduates Day?

• The graduates’ march. As in every year, the graduates will march to the Metropolitan Church where Orthodox and Catholic priests will perform a special service (30 minutes).
